If Convicted: Dodik Reveals Republika Srpska’s Response in Two Phases – One Involves Serbia

A possible verdict by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will serve as proof of the violation of the BiH Constitution, said the President of the Republika Srpska entity, Milorad Dodik, in an interview with Russia Today Balkan, announcing a two-phase response from Republika Srpska.

“In the first phase, Srpska will fight for the constitutional order of BiH. What we have in practice in BiH does not exist in the Constitution: there is no army, no armed forces of BiH, no SIPA, no intelligence service, no court, no prosecutor`s office, no indirect taxes, no many agencies, no border service of BiH,“ said Dodik.

He added that everything would be reverted to that level, and after that, a law will be passed to withdraw from the agreement on the armed forces.

“If Sarajevo does not agree to return to the BiH Constitution, Republika Srpska will enter the second phase, which involves withdrawing from the Dayton Agreement,“ Dodik stated, as reported by RTRS.

He emphasized that in the second phase, Republika Srpska would directly address Serbia, requesting an agreement on a confederation between Srpska and Serbia, followed by a federation and monetary union with Serbia.

Dodik claimed that the legal proceedings against him were initiated at the request of the formed U.S. administration and its Ambassador, Michael Murphy.
