Komšić’s Easter greeting: Our differences are not an obstacle, but a wealth

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, extended greetings to the Archbishop Metropolitan of Vrhbosna, Monsignor Tomo Vukšić, and the Metropolitan of Dabro-Bosna, Mr. Hrizostom, as well as to all Bosnians and Herzegovinians who are celebrating the upcoming Catholic Easter, according to the Gregorian calendar, and Orthodox Easter, according to the Julian calendar.

I extend my greetings to all the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the upcoming, greatest Christian holiday.

This year, when we celebrate Catholic and Orthodox Easter on the same day, we are reminded that much more unites us than divides us. Our differences are not an obstacle, but our wealth.

Let this holiday be an opportunity to remember the importance of compassion, solidarity, and mutual respect. Many among us are welcoming these days in silence, facing life challenges that are not immediately visible. That is why let the holiday spirit inspire us to care for those around us who need support.

Wishing you all a peaceful, healthy, and joyful holiday season, surrounded by your loved ones, I wish you a happy Easter and Christ is Risen!” said Željko Komšić.
