Aleksandar Vulin, the Vice President of the Government of Serbia, has threatened the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and state police agencies, stating that Serbia is strong enough and will not allow the detention of top officials Republika Srpska (RS).
“When we needed to bring Dodik, we had to protect him. What, should they throw eggs at him? It’s interesting that after just one failure to appear at a hearing, the Prosecutor’s Office immediately issues an arrest warrant. They can only carry it out by force,” Vulin said.
He then falsely claimed that Banja Luka is the capital of RS, although the capital of RS is Sarajevo.
“No one from the outside can come and arrest someone. Serbia now has to have its hands tied, dealing with blockades, and focus on its own issues,” Vulin said, referring to the problems Serbia is facing, such as protests and blockades at NIS (National Oil Industry of Serbia).
Vulin described the BiH Prosecutor’s Office’s summons for Milorad Dodik’s questioning as revenge.
“This is not a trial, it’s revenge, just like the Hague Tribunal was revenge against the Serbs, not a trial. This is revenge against Milorad Dodik and revenge against the Serbs,” Vulin believes.
