Košarac was hit by Schmidt’s sanctions so he really gave him a piece of his mind

Christian Schmidt’s decision to suspend the payment of budget funds to the SNSD and United Srpska is a continuation of unconstitutional, undemocratic, and anti-Dayton behavior by an illegitimate foreigner who has completely lost even the slightest appearance of normalcy, said SNSD Presidency member and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Staša Košarac, in a statement to Srna.

Košarac stated that Schmidt “continues to go from one mistake to another and shows that he is completely lost in political time and space.”

It shows that, colloquially speaking, he no longer knows what he’s doing. His confusion is expected, given that he is a foreigner here, an alien not confirmed by the signatories of the Dayton Agreement and not accepted by the relevant institutions of Republika Srpska, said Košarac.

He emphasized that with his latest decision, Schmidt has once again proven how little he knows about Republika Srpska and the Serbian people.

Although he clearly intends to punish and weaken the SNSD in this way—a state-building political party that most consistently defends the interests of Republika Srpska—he has achieved the exact opposite. The SNSD will come out of this only stronger, with even greater support from the people of Republika Srpska, said Košarac.

Košarac emphasized that Schmidt, “although he claims to support the Dayton Peace Agreement and Bosnia and Herzegovina, in reality contributes most to its breakdown and disappearance.”

With actions like these, Schmidt is actively continuing to undermine Bosnia and Herzegovina. While he pays lip service to the Dayton Peace Agreement and democracy, he continually makes decisions that render Bosnia and Herzegovina unworkable and unsustainable—a failed state, said Košarac.

Košarac reiterated that “Bosnia and Herzegovina is only possible as a union of two entities and three equal constituent peoples, based on the letter of the Dayton Peace Agreement and Annex IV, which is the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
