Dodik complained to the Russians: Bosniaks are threatening me, they want to make my life difficult

The President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska and fugitive from the BiH judiciary, Milorad Dodik, stated that he feels safe in Republika Srpska, but that he is receiving threats due to his contacts with the Russian side.

“I feel completely safe in Republika Srpska. But of course, I receive various letters. Many attacks and similar threats are being sent via social media by Bosniaks,” Dodik said in an interview with TASS.

He stated that “Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina are not only against Serbs, but also against Russians,” and that “this is why every contact he has with the Russian side literally enrages them.” The goal of all this, Dodik continues with the same narrative, is to “make his life more difficult in cooperation with the West.”

“We are constantly featured in their media in one form or another. All of this provokes such a reaction from them because we have good relations with the Russian Federation and direct contact with President Vladimir Putin,” Dodik said.

He also noted that the Bosniaks support NATO, while the Serbs do not.

“We are against joining and entering NATO. And all of that causes constant tension on their side, which they use at every opportunity to act against us,” Dodik said.
